Last month we held our first Student Leader lunch, it was a great success, we were blessed to have received donated food from our local Griffin Chick-fi-la. We were able to gain positive feedback and were able to answer questions as well as begin to form new bonds in Christ. We had a total of 17 people in attendance and we are excited by what the future holds.

We ask that you continue to pray for the students of Griffin and the surrounding areas as we push onward towards our first GAS night coming this fall. Pray specifically that Jesus will be seen and revealed to those who do not know him, and that they will accept Jesus as their savior. We are founded on the words of Jesus when he says in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We also ask that you pray for the student leaders in the area, as they continue to pour into this generation of students.

Our next Leader Lunch will be held August 21, 12pm, at City Church Griffin, 220 E. Solomon St. Griffin. Please register on our site if you plan to attend. If you are not a student leader but you know one please pass this information on to them.

Our total goal to launch the ministry is $5,000.00, this will cover 2 gatherings, formation of the nonprofit, food for our leader gatherings for the next year, purchasing equipment for our gatherings, website hosting, informational documentation, and more.
